How To Tell If You Have A Problem With Your Hydraulic Fluid

The quality of your hydraulic fluid is key to the health of your hydraulic system. Here are several common indicators that you have a problem with your hydraulic fluid.
- Milky looking fluid
- A burnt smelling fluid (a sign of your system overheating)
- Fluid is foaming
- Aerated fluid (This causes banging noise as the air compresses and decompresses)
