Low Speed High Torque Motor | Nichols 110a Series

Nichols 110a Series Low Speed High Torque Motor

Low Speed High Torque (LSHT) Motor | Nichols 110a Series

The Nichols™ 110A Series low speed high torque hydraulic motor is a compact and rugged LSHT motor engineered for long life and high performance in demanding mobile and industrial applications. Its unique solid, one-piece shaft design eliminates the torque link found in other orbital motor designs, significantly reducing internal spline stresses and extending service life—especially under rapid reversal conditions.

Available with thru-shaft options for brakes, encoders, or auxiliary drive functions, the 110A Series provides exceptional versatility for system integration. Its compact construction—just 6.6 inches in length—delivers up to 7,200 lb-in of torque, making it one of the most power-dense low speed high torque motors in its class.

With proven reliability, high torque output, and efficient operation, Nichol’s 110A Series low speed high torque hydraulic motors are ideal for applications where durability, smooth performance, and compact design are critical.
