The Chelsea 272 Series is a complete reinvention of Parker’s medium-duty hot shift PTO line, consolidating the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series into a single, versatile solution.

Engineered for strength and reliability, the 272 Series features upgraded internal components capable of handling up to 300 lb-ft of torque—whether operating intermittently or continuously.

With nine speed ratios, 18 shift options, and a wide range of direct-mount and driveshaft outputs, the 272 Series offers unmatched flexibility.

Direct-mount options can be equipped with Wet-Spline technology (optional) for extended PTO and pump shaft life.

Driveshaft outputs feature Smart-Start technology, designed to handle high-torque start-up conditions smoothly.

Available with hydraulic or air shift options, the 272 Series also includes an integral air control valve for simplified installation.
