The Chelsea 890 Series PTO is a hydraulic hot shift power take-off engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 transmissions, offering superior clearance and the highest torque rating in its class—up to 670 lb-ft.

Designed for optimized fit and performance, the Chelsea 890 Series PTO installs neatly between the transmission and the truck’s frame rail, positioning the pump output toward the rear of the transmission for ample working space. It mounts like a standard side-mounted PTO but includes an additional rear support bracket for enhanced stability and durability.

Unlike traditional PTO and extension setups, the 890 Series is a single, integrated unit featuring a one-piece main shaft that eliminates the input spline connection between components. The clutch assembly is located at the rear of the PTO, allowing the gear housing to fit tightly against the transmission for maximum clearance.

The output design incorporates Wet Spline Technology, which significantly extends the life of both the PTO and pump shafts under demanding operating conditions.

The Chelsea 890 Series PTO is available for Allison transmissions with or without a cooler or retarder, making it ideal for aerial lift trucks, fire and rescue vehicles, snow and ice equipment, and other high-torque applications where space and reliability are critical.
