The Parker VP1 Series hydraulic piston pump is a variable displacement axial piston pump engineered for exceptional performance and reliability in truck hydraulic systems. Known for its high self-priming speed, high efficiency, and compact design, the VP1 is one of the most advanced truck piston pumps available on the market.
Operating at pressures up to 420 bar (6,100 psi) and speeds up to 3,000 rpm, the VP1 delivers precise flow control and superior circuit reliability. It can be close-coupled to a gearbox PTO (Power Take-Off) or an independent engine PTO in compliance with ISO 7653-1985 standards. Its through-shaft design on models VP1-45, -60, and -75 allows tandem coupling with an additional pump, such as Parker’s F1 fixed displacement series, for expanded system capability.
Ideal for truck cranes with load-sensing systems, the VP1 also optimizes complex hydraulic circuits in refuse collection vehicles, sewage trucks, tippers, cranes, snow plows, and spreaders. By delivering the precise amount of hydraulic flow required, it reduces energy consumption, minimizes heat generation, and ensures smooth, quiet operation—extending system life while improving environmental efficiency.
