Increased Pressure Ratings for Parker E-Z FORM™ Series 7219, 7395 & 7399 Hoses

Parker E-Z FORM Hoses with Increased Pressure Rating

Parker’s Hose Products Division has announced increased pressure ratings for select sizes of three E-Z FORM™ hose series: 7219, 7395, and 7399. The update applies to hose sizes up to 1 inch, and select sizes are now also approved for use with Parker 43 Series crimp fittings.

These changes give equipment builders, maintenance teams, and fleet operators more flexibility when specifying hose for compact routing, suction and return service, coolant systems, drain lines, and other industrial or mobile applications.

Western Integrated Technologies offers Parker hose products, hose assembly support, and hydraulic expertise to help customers select the right hose and fitting combination for the job.

What Changed?

Parker has increased the maximum working pressure for select E-Z FORM™ hose sizes up to 1 inch across the following series:

  • Series 7219 — E-Z FORM™ MP Multipurpose Oil Resistant Hose
  • Series 7395 — E-Z FORM™ GS General Service Hose
  • Series 7399 — E-Z FORM™ HT High Temperature Hose

Across these series, the updated hose sizes now include working pressure ratings up to 150 psi. Select sizes are also approved for 43 Series crimp fittings. Please see the tables under each hose series heading below for compatibility with specific part numbers.

For currently qualified crimp specifications, including coupling designations, Parker directs users to CrimpSource.

Important: Couplings attached with bands or clamps may reduce the working pressure of the hose assembly below the hose’s maximum rated working pressure. Always follow applicable assembly guidelines and verify the complete hose assembly rating.

Series 7219 — E-Z FORM™ MP Multipurpose Oil-Resistant Hose

Parker Series 7219 E-Z FORM™ MP is designed for applications requiring a highly flexible, oil-resistant hose with suction and return capability. Its construction includes a black nitrile tube resistant to oil and refined fuels, multiple textile plies with a wire helix, and a black chloroprene cover with Parker’s Greek corrugated finish.

The wire helix provides full suction/vacuum capability and also creates a path to conduct static electrical charge to ground. The tightly pitched corrugations reduce bending force, improve kink resistance, and allow the hose to be routed through confined spaces where formed hose is often required.

Series 7219 Notes

Series 7219 should not be used in fuel dispensing or service applications requiring API, NFPA, UL, ULC, or other agency approvals or listings. Parker also advises users to refer to the refined fuel/hose compatibility information for media compatibility. Do not drag the hose across sharp edges or highly abrasive surfaces.

Series 7395 — E-Z FORM™ GS General Service Hose

Parker Series 7395 E-Z FORM™ GS is a general-service hose engineered for coolant, air, mild chemical, water, drain, and vacuum applications. It uses an EPDM tube that is resistant to commonly used coolant mixtures, multiple textile braids or plies with a wire helix, and a black EPDM Greek corrugated cover.

Like the other E-Z FORM™ hoses, Series 7395 is designed for applications where flexibility and compact routing are critical. The wire helix supports full suction/vacuum capability and provides a path to conduct static charge to ground.

Series 7399 Notes

Series 7399 is a strong choice when higher temperature performance is required. As with the other E-Z FORM™ series, avoid dragging the hose across sharp edges or highly abrasive surfaces.

Why This Matters for Hydraulic and Industrial Applications

The increased pressure ratings expand the usefulness of Parker’s E-Z FORM™ hose platform in compact, demanding environments. These hoses are designed to reduce the need for pre-formed hose by offering exceptional flexibility, low force-to-bend, and strong kink resistance.

For maintenance teams and OEMs, that can mean:

  • Easier hose routing in tight spaces
  • Reduced need for custom formed hose
  • Strong suction and vacuum performance
  • Improved assembly options with approved coupling combinations
  • Broader application coverage for mobile, industrial, and fleet equipment

However, hose selection should always account for the full application: pressure, temperature, media compatibility, routing, bend radius, environmental exposure, coupling method, and applicable agency or industry requirements.
