Dimensional Update to Parker 77-Series Crimp Fittings – Size -24 (July 2025)

Parker 77-Series Crimp Fittings Dimensional Change

On July 18, 2025, Parker’s Hose Products Division announced a strategic design optimization for its renowned 77-Series crimp fittings. Following similar enhancements in 2022 for sizes -12, -16, and –20, the latest adjustment applies only to the size –24.

What’s Changing?

Transition from Crimp Nut to Slip Nut

All affected size –24 fittings will now feature a slip nut design, replacing the previous crimp nut. This aligns Parker’s manufacturing with existing standards for easy assembly and maintenance.

Modified Backup HEX Size (‘H’)

To support the new nut style, the backup hex dimension has been adjusted. This subtle yet critical change demands attention in your assembly clearances and torque specifications.

Clear Part Labeling

Products undergoing this revision will carry a yellow label on the packaging, ensuring instant recognition. Our goal is full transparency—no guesswork on your end.
