Parker DM Miniature Quick Coupling Series Replaced by Rectus 21 DSO Series
Effective immediately, Parker’s Quick Coupling Division has announced the discontinuation of the DM Miniature Quick Coupling series. The DM series will be replaced by the new Rectus 21 DSO series, as part of Parker’s ongoing global initiative to simplify operations and streamline product stocking.
The Rectus 21 DSO series provides a direct, fully functional replacement for the DM line—maintaining identical operating performance, pressure ratings, and flow characteristics—while incorporating an updated design for improved consistency across Parker’s global product portfolio.
What’s Changing
- Port Connection: Male plug coupling port ends will transition from NPT to NPSF (tapered) threads.
- Sleeve Design: The DM sleeve will be replaced with the Rectus-style sleeve, offering a more ergonomic grip and consistent Parker Rectus design language.
- Part Numbers: Each DM part number now has a corresponding Rectus 21 DSO part number. (See the complete cross-reference list on page 2 of the official bulletin.)
All open orders placed under DM part numbers will automatically ship under the new Rectus 21 DSO numbers, and Parker will honor existing pricing. Going forward, please use Rectus 21 DSO part numbers when placing new orders.
