The change will take effect on November 1, 2025. Please contact us for drawings and print comparisons.

  • Parker will implement a slight modification to the forging body of these two part numbers.
  • The new design is more compact, with only minor dimensional changes.
  • Importantly: there will be no changes to the functionality or performance of these parts.
  • Both fittings remain part of Parker’s Compress-Align® brass compression fittings family, which are manufactured as forged brass bodies.

The change will become effective on November 1, 2025. After this date, units of 168C-4-2 and 168CA-4-2 shipped may reflect the redesigned forging body.

Impact

  • You can continue to rely on these parts with the same performance expectations.
  • Even though the body forging has been modified only slightly, you should still verify the updated drawings and prints to confirm fit-and-form in your specific assembly or system.
  • If you need to update your own drawings with these dimensional changes, please request drawings and print comparisons between the existing and revised versions.
